Mission: Perform preventive and corrective maintenance, diagnostics and repairs on Ground Support Equipment (GSE),
Key Responsibilities:
Including but not limited to:
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on GSE.
• Diagnose electrical, electronic, mechanical and control-system faults and carry out the required repairs.
• Use diagnostic equipment, specialised tools and technical documentation correctly and safely.
• Ensure that all diagnostics, repairs and adjustments are safe, reliable and compliant with company standards.
• Apply knowledge of Euro 6 engine after-treatment systems, including emissions-control components and related diagnostics.
• Carry out maintenance and diagnostic work on electric vehicles (EVs), including low-voltage (LV) and high-voltage (HV) systems, strictly in accordance with relevant training, approved procedures and risk assessments.
• Maintain proper care and control of tools, equipment and diagnostic devices.
• Complete job cards and all relevant maintenance documentation to ensure full traceability.
• Support the Maintenance Manager and Workshop Management with technical advice and fault investigations.
• Assist in maintaining a safe, clean and organised workplace, including proper waste management.
• Comply with company policies and procedures relating to security, health and safety, data protection and quality assurance.
• Carry out other duties assigned or delegated by the Team Leader or Workshop Management.

Advanced diagnostic and repair skills
Knowledge of automotive electrical and electronic systems
Knowledge of industrial vehicles, heavy vehicles and/or passenger cars
Knowledge of Euro 6 after treatment and emissions - control systems
Knowledge of EV systems, including low voltage and high voltage systems, is considered an asset
Knowledge of electronics, ELV and low voltage mains systems is considered an asset
Ability to work independently and provide technical support to colleagues
Minimum of 4 years’ work experience in a related field
Relevant qualification in automotive engineering, electrical systems or a related discipline
MCAST qualifications or specialised training in electric vehicles (EVs), including LV and HV systems, will be considered an asset
Ability to communicate in English, Maltese or both
Practical knowledge of industrial vehicles, heavy vehicles and/or passenger cars
