<p><strong>Job Purpose</strong></p>
<p>The Automotive Technician – Electrical plays a central role in ensuring that all Ground Support Equipment (GSE) remains safe, reliable, and fully operational. The purpose of this position is to carry out expert preventive and corrective maintenance on electrically powered and electronically controlled GSE, diagnose faults using specialised tools, and restore equipment to optimal working condition in line with company safety and quality standards. This role directly supports operational continuity by reducing equipment downtime, improving safety performance, and maintaining full traceability of all maintenance activities.</p>
<p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Conduct scheduled preventive maintenance on all types of GSE.</li>
<li>Perform corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on electrical, electronic, ELV, and low-voltage systems.</li>
<li>Use diagnostic tools and testing equipment correctly, ensuring accurate fault identification and safe repair practices.</li>
<li>Ensure all maintenance work meets internal safety, quality, and operational standards.</li>
<li>Complete job cards, maintenance reports, and any required documentation to maintain full traceability of work performed.</li>
<li>Maintain a clean, organised, and safe workspace, including proper handling and disposal of waste materials.</li>

<li>Support the team leader and workshop management by carrying out additional duties as required.</li>

<p>The Automotive Technician – Body Works is responsible for restoring, repairing, and maintaining the structural integrity and exterior condition of Ground Support Equipment (GSE). The purpose of this role is to ensure all GSE bodywork remains safe, functional, and compliant with operational standards by carrying out accident damage repairs, corrosion treatment, structural assessments, and preventive body maintenance. This position directly supports equipment reliability, safety performance, and operational readiness by ensuring all bodywork repairs are completed to high-quality standards and fully documented for traceability.</p>
<p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Carry out all panel beating duties, including dent removal, reshaping, straightening, and structural body repairs on GSE.</li>
<li>Assess and evaluate body and frame damage to determine the required repair method and materials.</li>
<li>Repair accident-related damage, including structural deformation, cracked panels, and misaligned components.</li>
<li>Perform rust removal, corrosion treatment, and other preventive maintenance tasks to extend the lifespan of GSE body structures.</li>
<li>Conduct minor fabrication, welding, sanding, filling, and refinishing work as required.</li>
<li>Ensure all repairs meet company safety, quality, and operational standards.</li>
<li>Complete job cards, repair reports, and documentation to maintain full traceability of all work performed.</li>
<li>Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workshop environment, including proper waste disposal and handling of materials.</li>
